Too long of a list to put here beginning with Fox isn't news, nor are most of the other news programs. They gradually to entertainment as bottom line profits became the driving force. There is much that has been written about this by many who have followed the progression over time. Look up "when did news become entertainment" and see what these people have to say. I'm no expert but I know the difference in the reporting done by these folks - Walter Cronkite, Chet & David, Dan Rather and that offered up today by recently deposed Norah O'Donnell, Lester Holt, and David Muir. And that's just a small sample.
Yes, Gary. I confess that I like to listen to the BBC whenever possible. It reminds me of my childhood but also seems to still be a reliable source for world news.
I was amused by Baier's post depicting Harris's appearance with him as a planned form of subterfuge. Those were not his actual words but that's the gist of what I understood him to be whining about.
I tell you, Don A., it’s taking all my brain power to attempt an understanding of his ilk. And just now I watched the video compilation of the January 6 insurrection prepared by The New York Times (courtesy of a link in Liza Donnelly’s Substack). OMG!
“ I have since looked him up and see that he has indeed won awards for journalism”. Awards awarded by who? I have found awards in many areas highly biased. A classic example is Watson and Crick winning Nobel prize for work they did not do the research. Why? The obvious. The real work was done by—drum role for the obvious—a woman.
Bret May be a little less batshit crazy than the typical Fox propagandist on the Trump support network but that interview merely demonstrated he was attempting to complete his assignment—with edited clips—to show Kamala in a bad light but only turned the spotlight on his bullshit.

Thank you, Jim, for confirming the “vibe” I was getting from Bret. Condescending would be the mildest epithet I could find.
