I’ve just been informed that Kristi Noem wants me for a pet. She sent me notice that started with a grinning picture of her with boar’s tusks extending down from here nose.
Then she writes: “I’m gonna put spell on you because you’re mine.”
As I walk through this SHADOW of death, I fear no evil as I see evil is everywhere whether man or woman, white, black, brown. I see the multitudes of the horsemen and women of the apocalypse. I see the genocide oblivious to the DoNothingDems.
I see the continuous timeline of war, poverty, disease and current zeitgeist.
After checking you out here, I decided to just let you know that I haven’t monetized my Substack. So it is possible to write to your heart’s content as well as making notes on other Stacks.
PS. I did not CHECK YOU OUT. After reading some of your posts I trusted my gut. I recognize this can get me into trouble because I read so many posts from so many different people my simple mind can get confused. PS, did you read my FBI FILE, my CIA FILE, or both?😉👀♐️♐️♊️
Thank you. I confess that when a read a post and want to comment then hit a paywall, I swallow my minor irritation BUT never again read a post from that author. Though the author may be brilliant and insightful there is plenty of brilliance and insightfulness to munch on for free such that I’m not kneeling at the altar of profits investing with bloodsucking ticks. Ok, a little dramatic but I like a little drama. 🤪😜🙂♐️♐️♊️
I, on the other hand, pay for quite a few people who probably have a lot more disposable income than I do. But I also enjoy the content of loads of others for free. If I can’t comment, I’ve found I can restack with a note and get anything I want to say across that way.
Maybe you are too busy doing things you like to take the time to write about them .Discipline is good, but at your age it might be time to form some bad, but fun, habits.
Honestly, it helps me to have the schedule because otherwise I wouldn’t write at all. I’ve enjoyed finding Substack last year and pride myself on my regularity. I find others have set times to post as well, and I enjoy being able to count on them to deliver. So I do the same.
@jimsanders, @katharinehill1, if I were Donald Trump, I would be very nervous about picking Kristi Noem as my vice president, especially once he is convicted of felonies and becomes a liability to the Republican Party. She says she shared the anecdote of killing the family dog to show she has the toughness to "do what needs to be done." That might sooner or later involve putting Trump out of our misery. My guess is that she has "screwed the pooch" with that anecdote.
Thoughts about the passing of a friend from a brain tumor and an infant whistling in a single day? I guess that's a sign of the stage of life we are in, Katharine. One day at a time, life by the inch. I keep hoping that the fad of tweeting will end with the decline of X and Facebook and that 2024 will be the year of Substack, far more substantive social media. Might just be wishful thinking. Anyway, thanks for the literary and movie referrals.
May be my last posting on Substack

I see realty of Homo Save-us.
Thus, I have no fear. I welcome my eventual rest.

We each walk our own path.

Katharine why two a week? I'm fine with as many of your sensitive and smart posts as you care to deliver, but why pressure yourself?

You're right! There's all kinds of pressure, and the pressure to deliver to a waiting audience is possibly the best kind.
