ODAT seems the byword right now. I attended to Seattle World gathering and rather than being inspired, I found myself a bit terrified. That was when I realized that I have a bit of fear of crowds of people. Here I am tho, many years later, still not drinking and living a reasonably calm life.

I won't/can't stay up late either, but am catching the speeches on YouTube. I hope you say the Obamas. They were eloquent. I'm glad we are longer "going high."

Interesting. I lived in Canada near Montreal when I was in third grade. But had relatives in Toronto. Then we went back to England.

Kingston, Ontario where I live is almost halfway between Montreal - to the east - and Toronto to the west.

I don't normally watch these conferences but I watched the whole televised portion last night. It was impossible to turn away from such hope and positivity. I am looking forward to watching Kamala bring the house down tonight!
