It does take a long time

for it to go away. The only way it can be worse is to not realize you have it and then go to the bathroom. I have become somewhat adept at identifying it and never work in our garden without gloves.

I remember the blisters between fingers when I was in the 3rd grade. And you're right that by the time it gets that far it's not an itchy rash, it's a nagging pain. I hope that you have someone to give you a hug now and then because hugs can be magical on pain.

Thank you, Don. Lots of huggers available but right now it might be painful? Taking it one day at a time.

You’re welcome, Katherine. The answer is most often in the question. Believing in goodness and grace is fine. Doing goodness with grace even better.

Friends have suggested the same, Bruce, but honestly I’m a barefoot, hands in the dirt kind of gardener. I’m also a stubborn old you-know-what and unlikely to change much. Thank you for reading my ravings though. P.S. Able to finger type with left hand on phone.
