Slow cookers have been with me since my mother taught me how to make a pot roast in her cast iron dutch oven. We do have an electric thing with a ceramic insert that is useful for making a big batch of beans with various meats and seasoning. One is called Hoppin' John which is black eyed peas and ham hocks. Another is a form of chili that wouldn't pass muster in Texas but is fine here in Pennsyltucky. I usually have several pints of whatever to put in the freezer and save effort when needed.
I can’t explain it other than to recognize that the truth usually comes out eventually. But when you have an inveterate liar call his ramblings Truth I get very afraid.
I’m still reading the very well researched and documented book (which I referenced in my post) about the rise of plutocracy and the choice of him as the leader. I’m learning so much about political science and sociology. I highly recommend it.
Oh dear, Richard. It’s complicated as so many of us are saying. But I for one wholeheartedly endorse President Biden for re-election. The alternative is unbearable.
