Say, is that Theodore Roosevelt series on PBS? What’s the actual title? I see FDR under American Experience. I see a few different Theodore documentaries but none appear to be a series. I support PBS, but the app, even for supporters, limits shows to those made available by local station. Which is crazy, because other shows are on YouTube! Anyway, cued up The Guilded Age. (American Experience). I’ll watch Teddy after I hear back from you. Thanks for reminding me of TV that’s not talking heads. 🙄
Hi, Freddie. I’m not positive how I found it. I think it was the American Experience series because the same historians are talking (such as Doris Kearns Goodwin). But I honestly don’t know how I came across them. I’m overwhelmed when I turn on the telly, and I usually go straight to Netflix where I have the cheapest subscription which includes commercials. All I know is that both TR and FDR popped up somehow for me to watch. Hope that helps???
Yes, that’s helpful. Was it a series or just one video? I see the FDR American Experience is a two part documentary. Since I watched American Experience The Guilded Age on YouTube, they (it?) will probably provide me with the Theodore Roosevelt and FDR shows. So, don’t fiddle too much with this.
I read 'Audition' a couple of years ago. Amazing book and amazing life.
Yes, Lee. I’m looking forward to reading more. BTW, I caught some of your live today. But I had some trouble with the audio so gave up. Sorry.
The changes in our we function as individuals and collectives is staggering.
Good morning, Freddie. Picturing you in the wilderness.

P.S. The actual title is Theodore Roosevelt. Then the other one is FDR.

Each of them had a number of episodes, and I’m in the midst of FDR. So at teatime I’ll continue watching. Reading occupies me until then.
