Continued Confessions

of a medical nature today

This will be very brief because I have a temperature and feel pretty shitty actually. Turns out that maybe it is not good idea to get three vaccinations all at the same time. Especially for an 80-year-old.

So when I awoke earlier I had a report to send in and I also wanted to get my darling grandson’s birthday card out to the mailbox. I managed to cool down a bit by sitting in front of the air conditioner in the TV room as I finished my work. I also wrote the card and shuffled to the mailbox.

It wasn’t until I got my usual morning call from my man that I looked up the fact that vaccines can indeed cause a rise in temperature. We agreed that next season I’ll take them one at a time!

Glad to be alive if not quite kicking today. Counting on all of you to save democracy.
