A new month begins, and as I sit down to write my Sunday post I find so many discrepancies between what is showing here on my laptop and what I know I have written and can actually see on my phone. Suffice it to say, I am extremely skeptical of technology this morning.
So I will confine my writing to telling everyone that I started my morning watching the PBS Documentary “A Citizen’s Guide To Preserving Democracy” on the recommendation of The Freedom Academy Professor Asha Rangappa. I usually stay in bed with my hot lemon water and read the political books I favor, but I decided that watching this video was the most important thing I could do first thing. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to know more about how elections are run in this country—and the incredible measures that are taken by a variety of citizens to protect the integrity of the electoral process.
Finally, I’ll give a shout out to Jim Buie whose Substack “Slender Threads” has a wealth of historical and current political information. And with that, I’m going to retreat to my recliner and read the hard copy of my Sunday paper.
